Within the framework of the activities of Binh Dinh provincial delegation to promote investment in Thailand, on the afternoon of February 28, 2024, the team led by Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, made a visit to the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand.

The provincial delegation was welcomed by Mr Phan Chi Thanh - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in Thailand and officials of the Embassy. Mr Phan Chi Thanh appreciated the visit of Binh Dinh province. The ambassador briefed on the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Thailand in recent years, emphasizing the outstanding developments in terms of politics, economics, culture, education...

Mr Pham Anh Tuan informed the ambassador of the delegation’s activities in Thailand. Binh Dinh Provincial Chairman Pham Anh Tuan requested that the ambassador help Binh Dinh province in promoting investment, trade, and tourism; also support connecting the province with a number of Thai businesses in the near future.

At the meeting, the ambassador Phan Chi Thanh suggested that Binh Dinh province should study and establish friendship connection with a specific locality in Thailand to make it more effective in investment promotion, thereby promoting economic development of both sides. Mr Phan Chi Thanh promised to help the province connect with different localities in Thailand.

On this occasion, Binh Dinh province respectfully invited the ambassador Phan Chi Thanh to Binh Dinh to attend the Formula 1 powerboat race F1H2O Grand Prix and Aquabike Grand Prix 2024 and the Investment Promotion Conference 2024 in Binh Dinh province, which would take place at the end of March 2024 in Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh).

The ambassador asserted that the fields that Binh Dinh province chose to cooperate with Thailand were very suitable, and he believed that there would be great outcomes to be produced in the near future.
