Ho Chi Minh city calls for investment in provinces in the Central Coast region

On September 27, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to organize a conference to review one year of implementing the Agreement on socio-economic development cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces in the Central Coast region. The conference will start on October 11, 2024 at the Binh Dinh Provincial Convention Center.

 

The event "Conference connecting supply and demand between Ho Chi Minh city and provinces and cities in 2024"

With the aim of transforming the potential and advantages of Ho Chi Minh city and the provinces in the Central Coast region into realistic specific values, contributing to the development of localities and regions, creating connection for businesses in the provinces in the Central Coast region and businesses in Ho Chi Minh City to cooperate; promoting public-private cooperation on the principle of mutual benefit and contributing to the development of each side; exchanging experiences in administrative reform, state management and support for business development, improving people's lives.

The expected attendants shall include Leaders of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh city, the People's Committees of the provinces: Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh; Leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors of Ho Chi Minh city and the provinces in the Central Coast region; large enterprises, business associations in Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces in the Central Coast region; Press and radio agencies, ... (350 delegates are expected to attend the conference).

The program will include contents such as visiting the exhibition area, introducing products, projects, outstanding achievements of localities; screening  documentary films on the results of socio-economic development cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces in the Central Coast region; speeches, proposals from guests and businesses; speeches from leaders of the Central Coast provinces; closing speech; handing over the flag to host the Conference summarizing the Socio-Economic Development Cooperation Program between Ho Chi Minh City and the Central Coast provinces for the period 2023 - 2025; awarding commemorative medals, taking souvenir photos, etc.

Also within the framework of the Conference, there are a series of accompanying events including the Conference connecting supply and demand between Ho Chi Minh City and provinces and cities in 2024; organizing exhibition spaces, introducing typical products and services, projects, and outstanding achievements of the localities; Conference on promoting investment in the Central Coast provinces; Conference on signing the Cooperation and Development Agreement in the health sector between Ho Chi Minh City and the Central Coast provinces for the period 2024 - 2025; Organizing business delegations to survey investment and investment connection activities in the Central coastal provinces.
