Binh Dinh provincial leadership meets with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI)
Meeting with the delegations, Vice Chairman Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang introduced the natural conditions, potential and strengths of development of Binh Dinh, recent socio-economic development results and the province's efforts in upgrading the strategic transport system, reforming the administrative procedure system to attract more domestic and foreign investors. This is a favorable condition for long-term cooperation in the upcoming time. Furthermore, he introduced the projects that the province set priorities for investment.
Mr Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang affirmed that the Binh Dinh provincial government has constantly accompanied, supported, and created favorable conditions for foreign enterprises and investors, to invest and do business in Binh Dinh. He also said that Binh Dinh and the UAE still have a lot of room to further promote the potential of the two economies.
During the working session with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Ms. Fatima Khalifa Al Muqarrab, Director of International Relations of SCCI appreciated the potential and advantages of Binh Dinh province. With its current strategic location, Binh Dinh has a great advantage in developing its strategic economic sectors. She committed to acting as a bridge between between UAE businesses and the province.
Binh Dinh provincial leadership meets with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry
During the working session with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ms. Latifa Hamoud Al Ameri, Head of Business Partnership Department of Abu Dhabi Chamber, revealed that currently, many member companies of the Chamber were interested in investment in Binh Dinh market, with focusing on high technology, information technology, industry, etc. She promised to organize a delegation of UAE businesses to survey and work with Binh Dinh provincial government in the nearest future to promote investment in the province.
At the working sessions, the PPC Vice Chairman Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang shared the information that the province currently has 22 countries and territories investing with a total of 88 projects in many fields. However, there are no projects of UAE investors in the province. The province's current export turnover to the UAE market (in 2023) reached 1.6 million USD and import turnover from the UAE in 2023 reached 3.6 million USD. Therefore, there is still a lot of room for cooperation and development. The provincial leadership hoped that the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry would support Binh Dinh province in acting as a bridge to connect and introduce UAE businesses in general and businesses in Sharjah city and potential Abu Dhabi city to explore investment cooperation opportunities in the province; supporting businesses in the province in expanding business activities, promoting trade and bringing the province's strengths to the UAE market; promoting tourism, trade and investment promotion activities through information exchange, propaganda documents, and tourism development promotion between the two sides; introducing, connecting, and helping Binh Dinh province promote the establishment of friendly cooperation and cultural exchange with suitable localities of the UAE in general, Sharjah city and Abu Dhabi city in particular; supporting the province in producing and bringing OCOP products of Binh Dinh province to the Tea Display Booths at the Trade Centers in the cities and especially, hoped that two Chambers of Commerce and Industry would connect UAE businesses and investors to work with the province's delegation during the investment promotion trip to the UAE in December 2024.
The representatives of SCCI and Abu Dhabi Chamber happily accepted the invitation and hoped that Binh Dinh province would soon provide information about the promotion trip so that they would be able to promptly provide the best support for Binh Dinh province.
