On the morning of September 22, 2023, at the Provincial People's Committee Office, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan had a meeting with Marubeni Lumber Group (Japan). The meeting was attended by representatives and leaders of relevant departments and of the province and Nhon Tan Holdings Joint Stock Company.

Marubeni Lumber (Japan) has strength in wood products such as LVL industrial plywood, processed wood products such as: safe wooden toys for children, high quality wooden products. around the world,... Currently, in addition to a factory in China, the group has another high-quality wood processing factory (Marubeni Lumber Vietnam) with the main products such as high-quality wooden toys. for children, along with other high-quality wooden products with an initial investment of 5 million USD (started in 2017) in Nhon Hoi A Industrial Park, Binh Dinh province.

At the meeting, Mr. Fumitaka Shimizu - General Director of Marubeni Lumber Group (Japan) presented his willingness to invest in Binh Dinh province through the purchase and sale of pellet products, along with a number of other industries such as warehousing, logistics transport...

According to Mr. Le Hoai Ngoc, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nhon Tan Holdings Joint Stock Company, in July, at the Investment Promotion Conference for Japanese enterprises in Binh Dinh, two businesses signed a memorandum of understanding to purchase pellets with a volume of about 200,000 tons/year. Currently, Nhon Tan Holdings Joint Stock Company is implementing the Nhon Tan Pellet Factory project (Nhon Tan commune, An Nhon town) with a total investment of 659 billion VND, capacity of 300,000 tons/year.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan expressed his joy at the investment willingness of Marubeni Lumber - a leading Japanese corporation. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that Binh Dinh always welcomed Japanese investors to come to Binh Dinh through a series of investment attraction policies implemented recently. Chairman Pham Anh Tuan said that Binh Dinh was one of the four furniture capitals of Vietnam, identifying this strength, Binh Dinh also has many attractive preferential policies in this field and hopes that Marubeni Lumber will expand investment cooperation with Binh Dinh businesses.

The provincial leadership made commitment to creating the best conditions for investors to operate and to directing concerned authorities to fully support investors in Binh Dinh, always accompanying and promptly removing difficulties for investors throughout the investment process.

At the meeting, on behalf of Marubeni Lumber Group, Mr. Fumitaka Shimizu - General Director expressed his pleasure with the welcome of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and pledged to continue expanding investment and introducing more partners of the Group to explore investment opportunities in Binh Dinh.
