Among the above projects, there are 44 projects outside the economic zone and industrial parks with total investment capital of VND11,911.5 billion VND (18 projects in industrial clusters, total value of VND 2,703.17 billion); 13 projects in the economic zone and industrial parks with total value of VND 1,343.170 billion and 3 foreign direct investment projects of VND 122.35 billion. Adjustment was made for 58 projects with total capital increased by VND 3,770.5 billion.

Accumulatively over the last eight months of 2023, the investment projects have disbursed VND 5,357.1 billion. Compared with the plan assigned (VND 7,630.63 billion), the disbursement value reached 70.04% of the plan. 753 new enterprises have been established with a total registered capital of VND 6,902 billion, down 14.2% in number of registered enterprises and 12.6% in registered capital compared to the same period of the previous year.

Regarding tourism, the province received 520,900 visitors, up 30.5% over the same period. In the first eight months of 2023, the tourism industry is estimated to welcome over 3.89 million arrivals, an increase of 21.4% over the same period last year (of which international tourists are estimated at 54,105 arrivals, domestic tourists are estimated at 3.84 million arrivals). Total tourism revenue by August 2023 is estimated at VND 12,833 billion, up 26.3% over the same period. The province has organized many events to attract tourists such as: International Scientific Conference "Windows on  the universe: Celebrating the 30th Anniversary of Rencontres du Viet Nam", the 8th International Festival of Traditional Vietnamese Martial Arts - Binh Dinh 2023, the 2nd Festival of Unicorns, Lions and Dragons in Quy Nhon - Binh Dinh in 2023, the expanded Exhibition and Competition of ornamental creatures in the Central region - Central Highlands in 2023 (taking place from August 19 to August 28)...

In order to attract investment in the upcoming time, the province has effectively implemented a number of key programs such as: the administrative reform to improve capacity, coordination in handling administrative procedures in investment, construction, land, environment and fire prevention in the province. Furthermore, auctions, bidding, and selection of investors are organized for a number of large and key projects; Promoting and supporting investment in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, Becamex VSIP Industrial Park; transport infrastructure, tourism infrastructure ... Signing cooperation agreement on communication and investment promotion between Binh Dinh province and Vietnam Airlines, Bamboo Airways, Vietjet Air, Vietravel Airlines; Investment promotion organization and investment promotion conference into Binh Dinh in the US, USA, Canada, Israel in the coming time; support is provided for reducing difficulties of investors through the working group on investment promotion and support of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; updating, adjusting and supplementing the priority list of calling for investment in Binh Dinh province in the period of 2021 - 2025; developing a set of Competitiveness Indexes at district, town and departmental level (DDCI).
