Binh Dinh holds an investment promotion seminar in Bangkok, Thailand

On the morning of March 30 in Bangkok, Thailand, Binh Dinh province in collaboration with Becamex Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company held an investment promotion seminar in Binh Dinh province - Thailand. The seminar was attended by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC); Mr. Nilsuwan Leelarasamee, Vice President of Federation of Thai Industries; Mr. Komon Liamnimit, Vice President of Technical Support for pork sales, C.P Corporation of Thailand; Ms. Piyakul Suwansumrit, Representative of Becamex in Thailand and members of the investment promotion delegation of Binh Dinh province.

More than 130 delegates of more than 50 Thai businesses attended this event.

At the workshop, Mr. Nilsuwan Leelarasamee, Vice President of Federation of Thai Industries appreciated the investment promotion activities of Binh Dinh province. He asserted the seminar was a great opportunity to strengthen investment and business connections for businesses of two countries.

Vietnam has numerous conditions for Thai businesses to explore investment opportunities. Currently, most Thai businesses investing in Vietnam have gained success, in which many businesses have expanded production investment. such as CP Group, AMATA Group...

On behalf of CP Group's representative, Mr. Komon Liamnimit, Vice President of Technical Support, pork sales of C.P. Thailand Corporation, said the reason why CP Group chose Binh Dinh as an investment place of his business was its favorable geographical position, synchronous transport infrastructure and the North - South - East - West traffic axis of Vietnam; currently Binh Dinh province is expanding the airport into an international airport and has highway, so it is forecasted that in the upcoming time, many investors will come to the province.

Speaking at the seminar, Binh Dinh PPC Vice Chairman Nguyen Tuan Thanh said: “… Thai enterprises have strengths in the fields of services, tourism, retail, hi-tech agriculture, auto parts... so we realize that if we can attract investors for these fields, it is very suitable for the province's orientation to attract investment, including: Industry, tourism, high-tech agriculture, port and logistics services, urban economy associated with the process of urbanization, clean water and waste treatment."

He also said: when investing in other areas of the province, depending on the preferential investment industries, special incentives, investors will enjoy incentives for a number of years of land leasing exemption, tax rate reduction and exemption from corporate income tax for a number of years, exemption from import tax to create fixed assets...

With the view of constantly improving and improving the quality of the business and investment environment to strive to become an "ideal destination" for domestic and foreign investors, Binh Dinh province has been focusing on developing the transport infrastructure system in the whole province, as well as the infrastructure of economic zones and industrial parks, including Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park.
