Investing in a concentrated livestock and poultry slaughtering facility in Hoai Nhon town

Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the investment policy for Quy Nhon Food Processing and Production Co., Ltd. to invest in a concentrated livestock and poultry slaughtering and frozen food processing facility invested in De Duc 1 quarter, Hoai Tan ward, Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh province.

A slaughterhouse

The land area for constructing the slaughterhouse is 26,496m2 and the investment value is VND 21.7 billion. The project is divided into 2 phases: Phase 1 invests in slaughtering livestock and poultry, with a capacity of 400 pigs/day; 2,000 suckling pigs/day; 30 buffaloes and cows/day; 1,000 poultry/day. Phase 2 is frozen meat processing, with a capacity of 1,000 tons of frozen pork and beef per year.

According to the project implementation progress, by the third quarter of 2025, the project will be completed and put into operation. When this project comes into operation, the slaughter of livestock and poultry in the locality will be strictly controlled, ensuring disease prevention and minimizing environmental pollution caused by slaughtering activities in residential areas. Furthermore, the project provides good quality and safe food products for local people and and the whole region, aiming to export frozen products to foreign markets, opening new markets for farmers, increasing livestock farming in the locality and contributing to the economic restructuring in agriculture.

Currently, there is no centralized slaughterhouse with modern technology in Hoai Nhon town and the northern districts of Binh Dinh province. The investment of Quy Nhon Food Processing Production Co., Ltd. concentrated livestock and poultry slaughtering facility and frozen food processing is necessary and suitable for practical requirements.
