A new Singaporean enterprise makes investment in Binh Dinh

On November 25, 2022, the Provincial People's Committee approved the investment policy for Greenwind Public Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) to invest in an outdoor and indoor furniture factory from wood and plastic wicker in Bridge 16 Industrial Cluster, Tay Son district.

Accordingly, the factory shall be built on an area of 55,000m2 at Bridge 16 Industrial Cluster, Tay Thuan commune, Tay Son district with a total investment of approximately USD 4 million. The project aimed to produce 12,000m3 wood products of finished products/year, rattan plastic products of 700 tons of products/year. The project's operation term is 50 years. The implementation starts from May 2023 and by December 2024 the project shall be completed and put into operation.

Greenwind Pte.Ltd has its head office in (Singapore), was granted Business Registration Certificate No. 201211317W by Singaporean Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority on 07/05/2012. The investment Greenwind Company Pte. Ltd. makes is suitable for industries attracting investment in Bridge 16 Industrial Cluster, contributing to increasing occupancy rate at the Industrial Cluster.

Bridge 16 Industrial Cluster has attracted 4 production investment projects (of which 3 projects have been put into operation), the occupancy rate is about 37% of industrial land area. When the factory of Greenwind Pte.Ltd go into operation, it is expected to contribute to socio-economic development of Tay Son district and create jobs for 350 local workers.

Currently, in the province there are 69 projects specializing in manufacturing interior and exterior furniture, plastic wicker (of which, 42 projects have been put into operation and 27 projects are under investment); export turnover in 2021 reached USD 205 million, an increase of over 60% compared to 2020.
