Binh Dinh will organize an investment promotion webinar with Australia

On October 18, 2022 as planned, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee will coordinate with Becamex IDC Corporation to organize an online and the face-to-face investment promotion webinar with Australia.

Accordingly, the webinar shall be conducted at 3 bridge points: Binh Dinh province bridge point at Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Office; Hanoi city one at the Australian Embassy in Vietnam; the Australian point at the Hilton Hotel in Brisbane, Queensland state, Australia. It is an event to promote foreign investment in Binh Dinh province. The webinar shall be attended by more than 100 Australian businesses and investors.

Previously, on September 23, 2022, Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee cooperated with Becamex IDC Corporation to organize an online and face-to-face seminar on investment promotion in the Thai market. About 94 enterprises from 57 groups and corporations attended the seminar, they were IT & software groups, automotive safety glass, food processing, construction materials (mosaic, tiles), logistics, packaging, logistics, agriculture (biochemistry), services, banking, consulting…

Currently, in Binh Dinh province, there are 6 projects with direct investment of Australian investors with total value of more than USD 23 million. They consist of whiteleg shrimp seeding and farming projects of Viet Uc group, a building materials and interior decoration product manufacturing - trading project of AVSS Co., Ltd., a stainless steel product manufacturing factory of ESP Co., Ltd. and a high-class concrete block factory of Penta VN Co., Ltd.

In addition, to meet the needs of investors, Binh Dinh province has been promoting investment in constructing 9 industrial parks and 63 industrial clusters. The province is converting Nhon Hoi economic zone covering over 14,500 hectares into a driving force for socio-economic development of the province. Priorities are set for luring resources for constructing Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Urban-Service-Industrial Park Project in Canh Vinh commune, Van Canh district of 1,400 hectares and a total investment of approximately VND 3,333 billion. Binh Dinh enhances development of sectors such as processing agricultural, forestry and fishery products; feed mills; corrugated iron, plastic; consumer goods; garments; construction materials; granite and footwear, waste treatment, supporting industries,....

The Provincial People's Committee expects that in the upcoming time, more online and face-to-face webinars shall be held with Japanese businesses.
