A new wood processing factory approved in An Lao district

Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has granted an approval of the investment policy and the investor of the wood plank factory project for Nguyet An Khang Co., Ltd.

 

A timber plank factory

The wood plank factory shall be built in Go Bui village, An Lao town, An Lao district on an area of over 3.7 hectares. According to the project documents, the  investment for the factory shall be approximately VND 1.8 billion with capacity of about 1,100m3 of finished products/year. The factory is expected to be completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Previously, on December 31, 2021, the Provincial People's Committee approved the investment policy and the investor for Tam Nhu Co., Ltd. to invest in the construction of a wood plank factory project with capacity of 1,300m3 of finished wood/year, value of VND 1.5 billion.

An Lao is a moutainous district of Binh Dinh province with an area of more than 69,660 hectares, of which forestry land accounts for 59,918.5 hectares. It can be seen as an advantage in terms of raw material supply when the wood plank factories come into operation. The factories’ operation will create jobs for the local people, increase budget revenue for the locality. In the current complicated epidemic situation, new investment can be considered a good sign for the socio-economic development of An Lao district.
