Approving the local adjustment of the general construction plan of Hoai Nhon township

The Provincial People's Committee has recently issued a letter approving the local adjustment of the master plan of Hoai Nhon urban area to 2035 at the request of the Department of Construction.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to take main responsibility and guide the People's Committee of Hoai Nhon township to complete the adjusted planning scheme, appraise, submit it for approval and organize the implementation in accordance with the current regulations; coordinate with concerned agencies and localities in organizing the plan, exploit the land resource along the route from DT.638 - DT.639 to generate revenue for the provincial budget so that investment can be put in road construction. One important content of adjusting the general planning of Hoai Nhon urban construction is the construction of wholesale markets for agricultural products in the northern region of the province.

According to the approved general planning for urban construction of Hoai Nhon, the nature and objective of Hoai Nhon urban planning is to establish a sub-regional central urban area (including districts of Phu My, Hoai Nhon, An Lao and Hoai An) to develop agricultural economy, processing industry in the North of Binh Dinh province. It is to convert the region into the nucleus in the North of Binh Dinh province in the urban system of the whole province, enabling it to develop in the direction of sustainability, meeting the urban standards of category IV. Furthermore, it is a center of trade and services, marine economy, agricultural and forestry product processing and tourism for the northern region of the province; also a center of education and training, providing trained labor and high-quality human resources. Located on an important strategic position in terms of security and defense, Hoai Nhon urban area is oriented to develop in line with the model: One axis - Two wings - Four centers.
