Contractor selecting plan for the high-tech agricultural area for shrimp development in Phu My district

Recently, the Provincial People's Committee has approved Contractor selecting plan for the construction sub-zone planning scheme of 1/2000 scale of the agricultural area applying high technology for shrimp development, My Thanh commune, Phu My district. The total value of the bidding packages is VND 1,378,816,000.

Total area of planning is approximately 406ha. The nature and objectives of the plan are to establish a high-tech area for the shrimp industry development with a complete and synchronous technical infrastructure system suitable to the coastal terrain of Phu My district; hatcheries, research on farming processes, commercial shrimp production, food processing, shrimp processing and supporting industries, bio-product production, preservation and processing, training, receiving and transfering scientific and technical advances to serve shrimp industry of the province, the central region and the country. The starting time for contractor selection is the first quarter of 2021.

At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (investor) to direct the relevant organizations to organize the contractor selection of for the bidding packages in accordance with the current regulations of the government.

Previously, the Provincial People's Committee issued a guidance document after the plan was approved, assigning the Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and relevant agencies to develop criteria and select investors to implement the plan in accordance with the current regulations of the government.
