The conference on investment promotion for Binh Dinh in Korea 2018
This conference aims to promote the potentials and advantages of Binh Dinh to Korean investors, directly invite Korean entrepreneurs and investors with good brands operating inside and outside Vietnam to learn about the environment and investment opportunities in the province. Besides, it aims to create connection and cooperation between businesses of the province and Korea in business expansion. The conference will be attended by the leaders of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, of Yongsan District, of concerned departments and agencies; Becamex IDC Joint Stock Company; Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Korean Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and more than 100 Korean enterprises.
At present, there are four projects of Korean investors in the province with total capital of USD 97.71 million, namely: Sepplus Binh Dinh Export Garment Factory of Sepplus Binh Dinh Co., Ltd. with total capital of USD1.5 million; QNY Solar Power Plant project worth USD 70 million of QNY ENERGY Co. Ltd.; Feed mill worth USD 24.48 million of CJ Vina Agri Co. Ltd., CJ Cinemas with investment of USD 1.73 million of CJ CGV Vietnam Co., Ltd., (CJ Vina Agri Co., Ltd. and CJ CGV Vietnam Co., Ltd. are two subsidiaries of CJ Group from Korea).
In the period from 2016 - 2020, Binh Dinh province also had many investment promotion missions in Yong San district, Yanggu district, Seoul city (Korea), including important meetings such as: greeting the commune. assigning offices of several major economic groups: Lotte Group, CJ Group, LG Group, Samsung Engineering Company, Hana E&C Company, ... At the same time with the help of Yongsan District, the province has successfully organized Investment Promotion Conference in 2019 in Korea with the participation of more than 250 Korean enterprises.

Binh Dinh is a province in the South Central Coast of Vietnam, with a total natural area of 6,071 km2 and a population of about 1.5 million people. It borders Quang Ngai province to the North, Phu Yen to the South, Gia Lai to the West and the East Sea to the East.
Binh Dinh is the southernmost province of the Central Key Economic Region (Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Binh Dinh). Located in the center of the North-South axis on all 4 routes of roads, trans-Vietnam railway, airway and sea with quite convenient transportation infrastructure.
Quy Nhon International Port, one of the major seaports of Vietnam, has the advantage of an air-tight anchorage area, large warehouse, with the third largest handling volume of goods in Vietnam, able to receive ships of 70,000 DWT. From Quy Nhon port, cargo can go directly to major seaports in Asia and other countries around the world. In 2019, the volume of goods handled by Quy Nhon port reached 9 million tonnes. In addition to Quy Nhon and Binh Dinh ports, there are three other domestic ports, namely Thi Nai, Tan Cang and Central New Port, with capacity of about 3 million tons/year.
Phu Cat Quy Nhon International Airport - where Bamboo Airlines is located, has more than 30 flights daily to Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Vinh, and Thanh Hoa provinces. In 2019, Quy Nhon International Airport welcomed more than 1.4 million passengers, the average growth of the airport reached 27% /year. International flights to Northeast Asian countries are also being provided.
Binh Dinh is also the intersection of the two most important national routes, National Highway 1A and National Highway 19 connecting Laos, Cambodia and Thailand, which is significantly convenient for businesses to transport goods, raw materials to the North, the South or the Central Highlands provinces, to Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand. Along with the roads connecting districts, towns and the city in the whole province to form a complete traffic network, meeting the transportation needs of investors.
Dieu Tri Railway Station is close to Quy Nhon City, it is in the top 12 major national stations, where any train will stop to pick up and drop off passengers and goods.

With a population of about 1.5 million people, of which over 55% are of working age, Binh Dinh can provide abundant human resource for investors.
There are 3 universities in the province, Quy Nhon University, Quang Trung University and FPT University-AI branch, which provide trainings of many different professions each year and thousands of students graduate from these universities.
