Selecting investors to implement the plan of agricultural area applying high technology for shrimp development in My Thanh commune, Phu My district

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has recently issued an official letter to assign the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to coordinate with relevant agencies to promptly prepare and appraise the 1/2000 scale plan for the development of hi-tech agricultural area for shrimp development in My Thanh commune, Phu My district and to submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval.

After the master plan is approved, the Department of Planning and Investment is assigned to coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and concerned agencies in formulating criteria and organizing the selection of investors to implement the master plan in accordance with the regulations.

The project to establish the agricultural area applying high technology for shrimp development in My Thanh commune, Phu My district was approved by the provincial People's Committee in June 2020, the total planned area of the area is 406 hectares, total capital is approximately VND 2,002 billion. Its functions are to apply high-tech research and development achievements in shrimp farming, breeding, carrying out researches on farming processes, commercial shrimp production, food processing, shrimp processing and supportive industries, bio-product production, preservation and processing, training and transferring scientific and technical advances to serve the shrimp industry in Binh Dinh and Central Vietnam.
