On November 20, 2020, the Korean Ambassador to Vietnam, the First Secretary and several embassy counselors had a friendly visit to Binh Dinh province.

The meeting at Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee's Office

At the Office of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee of Ho Quoc Dung and leaders of the Departments: Foreign Affairs, Planning and Investment, Industry and Trade, Tourism, Economic Zone Authority and The Provincial People's Committee Office warmly welcomed and had a meeting with the delegation of the Korean Ambassador to Vietnam.

Chairman Ho Quoc Dung shared information about the land and people of Binh Dinh; potentials, strengths as well as socio-economic development orientation of the province in the coming future. He especially appreciated the good friendship between Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province and Yongsan district, Seoul and requested the Ambassador to facilitate the development of friendly relations between Binh Dinh province and localities of Korea, connect and invite more investors from South Korea to Binh Dinh.

The Ambassador and members of the Mission expressed impression of the charming scenery of Quy Nhon city in particular and Binh Dinh province in general, positive feelings about the economic development of Binh Dinh province, especially the potential for tourism development.

At the meeting, two sides focused on discussing specific cooperation activities and plans to open direct international flights connecting Binh Dinh - South Korea and to hold an investment promotion conference in the first quarter of 2021 to invite Korean investors to Binh Dinh./.
