Investing in the second solar power plant project in Binh Dinh

TTP Energy And High Technology Joint Stock Company has been approved by the provincial People's Committee to invest in Cat Hiep Solar Power Plant project in Hoi Van village, Cat Hiep commune, Phu Cat district.

A perspective of Cat Hiep Solar Power Plant project

Cat Hiep Solar Power Plant of 49.5 MW has been approved by the Ministry of Industry and Trade to add to the power development plan of Binh Dinh province for the stage 2016-2025 with consideration to 2035 in the Decision No.4321/QĐ-UBND dated 16/11/2017.

The project has a total area of 82.95 hectares, design capacity for the plant is 49.41 MWp, with a total capital of VND 1,139.6 billion. The investor expected the plant will go into operation in the second quarter of 2019.

The project will increase the capacity of electricity generation in the locality, meeting the increasing demand for electricity, facilitating the development of industry, services and economic transformation in the locality. At the same time, it will reduce dependence on hydropower and fossil fossil fuel, reduce emissions to the environment, and enhance green industry, sustainable growth in the future.

Previously, on 30/5/2017, Binh Dinh Economic Zone Administration granted the certificate of investment registration for the solar and wind power plant project for Fujiwara Company (Japan). The project is implemented on an area of 60 hectares, total registered capital of USD 63.69 million, design capacity of 64 MWp for solar power and 36 MWp for wind power.
