Chairman of Italian Tourism Association visits Binh Dinh

On12th September 2014, Mr Le Huu Loc, Chairman of Binh Dinh ProvincialPeople’s Committee had a meeting with Mr Giorgio Palmucci,Chairman of Italian Tourism Association, Management board’s member ofFederturismo Confindustria Tourism Group who came to the locality to find outtourism cooperation opportunities.

The meeting was attendedby Professor Tran Thanh Van, President of Rencontres du Vietnam, representativesof relevant departments and sectors, and the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE)

In his talk, Chairman LeHuu Loc presented an overview of Binh Dinh tourism and its potentials. Heappreciated and stressed the importance of having Giorgio Palmucci’s support in luring investment and bringing tourists toBinh Dinh.

Mr Giorgio Palmucci saidthat it was the first time he came to Binh Dinh with two main purposes. Thefirst purpose was to assist Professor Tran Thanh Van in designing, planning andluring investor for the Resort project at the ICISE. The second one was toinvestigate the socio-economic situation and investment opportunities in thelocality. He appreciated the value of beautiful beach with fine sand which wasideal for tourism development and he is committed to calling for investors andtourists to come to Binh Dinh
