This is an annualactivity run by the People's Committee (PC) of Binh Dinh Province in collaboration with the Associationof Binh Dinh People in HCM city.

A great many of uniqueactivities took place at the even such as cuisine with special dishes of BinhDinh, cultural and singing performance, martial arts, mother and baby fashioncontest, folk games, traditional chess game, publications and artwork,materials promoting the image of Binh Dinh, the featured products of Binh Dinh...

Speaking at the festival,Mr. Hoang Canh, Chairman of Binh Dinh People Association in HCM city, said thatin 2013 the Binh Dinh People Association in HCM had much more diversifiedactivities than the previous year. Inparticular, the connection activities, helping Binh Dinh communities, makingcontributions to charities.... Withthe desire to reduplicate the image of country, Binh Dinh people in the pastand at present and to maintain the ancestor’s image, in 2014, the Associationhas decided to celebrate the annual meeting as a festival day.

Acknowledging thepeople’s contributions to the hometown, the PPC Chairman Le Huu Loc sharedinformation of achievements gained and difficulties in 2013 and the key projectsof 2014.

On this occasion, theInvestment Promotion Centre (IPC) also introduced the key projects Binh Dinh iscalling for investment

Speaking on behalf of BinhDinh people, Mr Tran Bac Ha - Management Board’s Chairman of Investment Bankingand Development of Vietnam (BIDV) proposed solutions to support and facilitate thedevelopment of the locality such as preparing land source to build dormitoriesfor workers, establishment of Quang Trung-Binh Dinh Fund to help poor students toincrease poverty reduction process in Binh Dinh; he was also pioneer tocontribute VND 01 billion to the fund.
