Implementing Resolution No. 103/NQ-CP dated 29.08.2013 of the Prime Minister regarding orientation on improving efficiency of attracting, using and managing foreign direct investment (FDI) in the upcoming time. A list of 22 project profiles calling for FDI in the province has been developed and submitted to the Ministry of Planning and Investment and to the Prime Minister for approval. They are also the projects calling for investment in the period 2013 - 2015, namely:

Investment in tourism sector

1. Ghenh Rang resort area (156ha, total capital of USD 25 million, direct investment);

2. Mui Rong - Tan Phung resort area (200ha, total capital of USD 120 million, direct investment);

3. Thi Nai Lagoon ecotourism zone (800ha, total capital of USD 400 million, direct investment);

4. Hoi Van hot spring resort (170ha, total capital of USD 50 million, direct investment);

Investment in health sector

1. Binh Dinh Women’s and Children’s Hospital (500 beds, 3.7ha, USD 25 million, direct investment, ODA);

2. High quality hospital (300 beds, 3.7ha, USD 25 million, direct investment, ODA);

Investment in infrastructure, industry

1. Nhon Tan Warehousing Area (19ha, total capital of USD 4 million, direct investment);

2. Dong Da Port (capacity of 1.4 million tons per year, total capital of USD 25 million, direct investment forms);

3. Phu Cat - Nhon Hoi Economic Zone Airport Highway (17km long, 30m wide, total capital of USD 37 million);

4. Coastal road of Binh Dinh province (107km long, 12m wide, total capital of USD 400 million);

5. Tam Quan seaport (8ha, 03 wharves for cargo ships of 3,000 tons, total capital of USD 15 million);

6. Solid waste treatment in Hoai Nhon district (10ha, total capital of 2 million);

7. Upgrading Long Van - Nguyen Thai Hoc road of the national road 1D, Quy Nhon city (7km long, total capital of USD 20 million);

8. Binh Dinh Power Center (250ha, newly built coal-fired power plant, capital of USD 4000-5000 million);

Investment in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, Industrial Park

1. Projects in Nhon Hoi new urban area (680ha large, capital of USD 20-200 million / 1 project, direct investment);

2. Water supply in Nhon Hoi Economic Zone (capacity of 90.000m3 day and night, capital of USD 75-100 million, direct investment);

3.  Nhon Hoi Seaport and logistics park (capacity of 12 million tons/year, total capital of USD 300-400 million, direct investment);

4. Investment, Construction and Trading in Infrastructure of Hoa Hoi Industrial Park (265ha, capital of USD 30-50 million, direct investment).

5. Manufacture in Nhon Hoi Zone A (630ha, average investment rate of USD 1.5 million/ ha). 

6. Manufacture in Nhon Hoi Zone B (451ha, average investment rate of USD 1.5 million/ ha). 

7. Manufacture in Nhon Hoi Zone C (288ha, average investment rate of USD 1.5 million/ ha). 

8. Manufacture in Nhon Hoa Industrial Park (320ha, average investment rate of USD 1.5 million/ ha). 

10. Manufacture in Hoa Hoi Industrial Park (340ha average investment rate of USD 0.6 million/ ha).
