Online talk show: Experience in attracting investment of Binh Dinh

On the morning of 12th May, VietnamGovernment Web Portal (VGP) in collaboration with Vietnam Television Centre in Da Nang city held anonline talk show under the theme:"Investment attraction – Experience from Binh Dinh province" with theparticipation of representatives of the Ministry of Planning and Investment andleaders of Binh Dinh province.

 

The invited guests of the program consistedof Mr Vu Dai Thang, Head of the Economic Zone Management Department, Ministryof Planning and Investment; Mr Ho Quoc Dung, Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh ProvincialPeople’s Committee, Mr. Man Ngoc Ly, Head of Binh Dinh Economic ZoneAdministration.

In recent years, Binh Dinh has gainedimpressive breakthroughs in attracting investment in comparison with othercentral coastal provinces.

At the talk show, theinvited guests discussed specific issues such as the oil refinery project worthUSD 27 billion; orientation of planning, infrastructure development in Nhon HoiEconomic Zone, incentives for foreign investors; preparation of workforce tomeet labour demand of foreign investment projects ...

What has been done in Binh Dinh can be auseful lesson for other provinces in the central coastal region as well as nationwidein attracting investment. This was also discussed during the talk and broadcast online on the VGP, broadcast live on VTV Da Nang,relay on Binh Dinh Radio Television, Digital Television VTC1, SCTV Channel 81 –and Mytv - Channel 9 broadcast nationwide.
