Unburnt brick factory project approved

The unburnt brick project of Viet Dai KhoaTrade and Service Lt. Company has been approved and the company will carry outthe procedures to start the project in Cat Hiep commune, Phu Cat district. TheDepartment of Natural Resources and Environment will introduce the venue to beconsidered by the People’s Committee for the project.

The unburnt brick project of Viet Dai KhoaTrade and Service Lt. Company has been approved and the company will carry outthe procedures to start the project in Cat Hiep commune, Phu Cat district. TheDepartment of Natural Resources and Environment will introduce the venue to beconsidered by the People’s Committee for the project.

The factory with a total capital of morethan VND 25.4 billion will cover an area of 3.6ha. It is planned to have thecapacity of 17 million bricks/year using clean technology and 18,000 m3 of lightconcrete bricks/year, expected to go into operation 6 months after receivinginvestment certificate.

Unburnt bricks are produced from materials suchas soil, sand, mineral slag…and some additive materials are used to createadhesion. This green technology is applied in construction material productionto utilize waste, minimize costs and eliminate burning process or CO2 emission.Also the project will contribute to making dramatic change for brick productionin the locality.
