Chairman Nguyen Van Thien attends Conference on Investment Promotion in Southern Region

A Conference on Investment Promotion in Southern Region was held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 10 by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and Saigon-Financial Investment Newspaper. The conference aims to summarize and assess the achievements and define the problems, difficulties to solve together to improve the task of investment promotion.

A Conference on Investment Promotion in Southern Region was held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 10 by the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and Saigon-Financial Investment Newspaper. The conference aims to summarize and assess the achievements and define the problems, difficulties to solve together to improve the task of investment promotion.

Over 250 delegates are leaders of the Ministry of Planning and Investment, Foreign Investment Agency (FIA), two investment promotion centres based in Danang City and HCMC under FIA, representatives of state management agencies on investment of provinces from Thua Thien - Hue to Ca Mau and a number of companies, enterprises, associations, news agencies.

Binh Dinh is one of the three central localities (Danang City and Phu Yen Province) having the speech titled “Role of the local People’s Committee in activities of promoting investment and some solutions to the investment promotion in the link with Central Vietnam key economic region”, presented by Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thien at the Conference.
