In the morning of 1 March 2010, the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a Meeting to discuss solutions for accelerating implementation of development investment plan in 2010, chaired by the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of  the PPC.

At the Meeting, Mr Le Van Tam - Director of the Planning and Investment presented a summary report of evaluating the implementation of the Directive 03/CT-UBND dated on 4 February 2010 by the PPC on some solutions for speeding up implemetation progress of investment plan in 2010, the Directive 04/CT-UBND dated on 26 February 2010 by the PPC on focusing on hastening implemetation progress of basic construction works in 2010, the Draft on regulations of the order and co-ordination mechanisms to resolve administrative procedures for construction investment of the enterprises beyond the Economic and  Industry Zones in the province.

Also at the Meeting, Mr Man Ngoc Ly - Head of Binh Dinh Economic Zone Administration presented a report of  solutions for accerlerating compensation, site clearance, assistance and resettlement in the area of Nhon Hoi EZ and IZs in 2010; Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Dang Trung Thanh presented a report of solutions for accerlerating compensation, assistance, resettlement and site clearance for investment projects beyond the Economic and  Industry Zones in the province and the Regulation by the PPC on compensation, assistance and resettlement under the Decree No. 69/2009/NĐ-CP dated 13 August 2009 by the Government.

Many participants at the Meeting expressed their opinions focusing on site - clearance work for investment projects.

Addressing the Meeting, Chairman Nguyen Van Thien asked leaders of local departments and agencies to raise high the spirit of responsibility, completing tasks assigned by the PPC, creating the most favourable conditions to proceed development investment projects and investment projects of enterprises.
