In order to prepare well for the Investment Promotion Conference into Binh Dinh dated on 20 January 2010, a two-day meeting was scheduled on 28-29 December 2009 with the attendance of the mission of Binh Dinh Province led by Chairman Nguyen Van Thien, the Party Committee of Central Businesses, Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) to discuss specific contents for the Conference.

On the morning of December 29, 2009, the Party Committee of Central Businesses hosted a meeting with Groups,  Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN), Vietnam Electricity (EVN), Vietnam Posts and Telecommunication Group (VNPT), Vietnam National Coal, Mineral Industries Group, the Vietnam National Textile & Garment Group (Vinatex), Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines), Vietnam Airlines, Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation, Vietnam Steel Corporation, Vingroup, HaNoi Tourist Company, Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD).

At the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Van Thien introduced the potential and advantages of the province, list of priority projects calling for investment, especially projects in the Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, concurrently committed to perform quick and orderly administrative procedures, applying flexibly regulations of the State in order to create favorable conditions for investors.

The Conference participants expressed interest in investment opportunities into Binh Dinh province and said that they would come to attend the Conference on 20 January  2010, carrying out field works … Businesses also suggested the province should have better plannings, timely publication of land prices and continue to simplify administrative procedures.
