On 10 October 2009, the Provincial Labor Union held a meeting for business leaders on the occasion of  Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day. Attending the meeting were Mr. Le Huu Loc- Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; leaders of related departments and leaders of more than 50 enterprises in the province.

Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan, Chairman of the provincial Labour Union presented the situation of production and business activities of enterprises which have faced the impact of the global economic crisis, difficulties of the market, output of products in recent years. With the spirit of effort and timely support from the state’s demand stimulus policy, some  enterprises have gradually overcome difficulties, stabilizing production, limiting reduction of labors, tackling harmonious relationship between enterprises and workers. 

It is also a chance for business people to exchange experiences in production, business and propose opinions with provincial leaders, leaders of relevant departments, branches, trade union organizations on issues related to tax, land, planning, supporting policies of the province and the State ...

At the meeting, three typical entrepreneurs of Binh Dinh Province in 2009 which were honored and awarded certificate of merit by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) are Ms. Cao Thi Kim Lan- Director of Binh Dinh Fishery Joint Stock Company, Mr. La Van Tam- Chairman of the Agricultural Cooperative in Binh Dinh Town (An Nhon) and Mr. Nguyen Trong Phat- General Director of Petec Binh Dinh Joint Stock Company.
