On the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the establishment and development of the friendship and cooperation between Quy Nhon city and Yongsan district, from September 16, 2019 to September 19, 2019, Mayor Sung Jang Hyun organized for the delegation to pay an official visit to the leaders of Binh Dinh province and Quy Nhon city to discuss the Investment Promotion Workshop in Korea in October 2019, attending the awarding ceremony: charity houses, a kindergarten in Phuoc My commune; awarding a happy bus to Quy Nhon city; presenting medical donation; signing a memorandum of understanding between Yanggu district, Gangwon province, South Korea and Quy Nhon city; signing a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation to promote economic and tourism growth between Quy Nhon city and Yongsan district; making a survey and exploring investment in a number of sectors through SEE Investment Promotion Company in Yongsan district.
In the afternoon of September 17, 2019, Quy Nhon city’s Chairman Ngo Hoang Nam and Quy Nhon city People's Committee leaders solemnly welcomed the delegation. The meeting was attended by the PPC Standing Vice Chairman Phan Cao Thang and leaders of several concerned departments.
The meeting witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the People's Committee of Quy Nhon city and Yanggu district, Gangwon province, South Korea and the Memorandum of Cooperation between Quy Nhon city and Yongsan district. Accordingly, the goals of the MOUs are to establish a strategic partnership based on the principle of bilateral equality, to promote economic development, tourism, exchanges, cooperation and to organize talks to promote economic exchanges.

At the ceremony, Chairman of Quy Nhon city People's Committee Ngo Hoang Nam thanked the government and organizations, individuals and businesses of Yongsan district in particular and South Korea in general for the great support and assistance for Quy Nhon city in the past 23 years in many fields: health, education, culture, social security and investment promotion....
Mr. Sung Jang Hyun, the governor of Yongsan district and Mr. Jo In Mook, Chairman of Yanggu district expressed their sincere thanks for the warm welcome of Quy Nhon city to the delegation. Mr. Sung Jang Hyun said that he hoped that in the future, Korean businesses will promote investment and achieve excellent outcomes in Binh Dinh in areas such as automotive supportive industry, renewable energy. generation (solar power), infrastructure construction, health care, tourism...

During the visit, Yongsan district awarded 2 charity houses worth nearly VND 300 million, 1 kindergarten in Phuoc My commune worth 3.2 billion and awarded a VND 3.1 billion happy bus and donated the cost of replacing cataract surgery equipment worth VND 722 million.
