As part of the visitingprogram in Laos, on22/10/2011, Mr Nguyen Van Thien - Provincial Party Secretary (left in thepicture), Mr Le Huu Loc - Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee and thedelegation visited the Vietnam Embassy in Vientiane.Mr Ta Minh Chau - Vietnamese Ambassador in Vientiene and his officers held thereception for the delegation.

Mr Nguyen Van Thien informedthe outcomes of the visit in southern Laos’ provinces. Binh Dinh leaders madecommitments to directing the local departments and sectors and supporting thepartner’s agencies and organizations to specify and develop comprehensive partnershipprogramme of the signed agreements.

Mr Chau appreciated thevisit to Laos PDR and emphasized that it was suitable with the special relationbetween two nations. He also wished that Binh Dinh and southern Laos’provinces will boost investment cooperation in areas where two countries havestrength in the near future.

According to theambassador, Vietnam is running400 projects in hydropower, coffee, rubber, banking, and mining in Laoswith total registered capital of USD 3.5 billion.

Previously, on theafternoon of 21/10/2011, the high-ranking delegation from Binh Dinh led by MrNguyen Van Thien, and Mr Le Huu Loc, Binh Dinh Chairman People’s Committee hada meeting with Ms Pany Yathotu, Chairwoman of Laos PDR.
