Binh Dinh finances construction of Vietnam-Laos Friendship School

The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province has just decided to finance VND500 million for the Association of Vietnamese in Sekong Province (Lao People's Democratic Republic) to build the Vietnam-Laos Friendship School which is intended to serve the Vietnamese and Laotian children living in Sekong Province. Of the fund, the provincial budget will finance VND400 million, the two enterprises (Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company- BIDIPHAR; the General Production Investment Service Import Export Company- PISICO), which are investing in Laos, will support VND50 million each.

Accordingly, the school which includes 6 classes, a teacher’s residental area, equiped with teaching aids and other equipments began construction on 12 December of 2008.
