Survey on international convention center and resort in Quy Nhon

Binh Dinh, 20 August 2008, Vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Huu Loc received and had talk with Mr and Mrs Jean Tran Thanh Van - professor, PhD, Vietnamese residents in France, representatives of Rencontres de Vietnam (head office in France). Those in attendance at the meeting included the Departments of Planning and Investment, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, the Quy Nhon People’s Committee.

Binh Dinh, 20 August 2008, Vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Huu Loc received and had talk with Mr and Mrs Jean Tran Thanh Van - professor, PhD, Vietnamese residents in France, representatives of Rencontres de Vietnam (head office in France). Those in attendance at the meeting included the Departments of Planning and Investment, Construction, Natural Resources and Environment, the Quy Nhon People’s Committee.

Professor, PhD Tran Thanh Van proposed an idea of constructing an international scientific convention center in Quy Nhon; linking with international universities for providing consultancy and training assistance at home and abroad…The Rencontres de Vietnam also initiated the training assistance and cooperation to develop other training branches for Quy Nhon University.

Vice chairman Le Huu Loc agreed in principle on a location at Genh Rang ward, Quy Nhon City for the Rencontres de Vietnam to survey; and asking the related agencies to help the investors complete esential procedures to start the project after approval by the Prime Minister.
